We loved
this campsite so much that we came back this year. We think it may be our
favorite even if it takes 3 hours to get there on long windy Highway 1. This
part of Higfhway 1 has one of the sharpest hairpins. Luckily Lilly outgrew her carsickness. |
The most
memorable thing for me is having the kayaks at our disposal everyday. I would go out on the river alone when
everyone was still sleeping and just slowly glide along the quiet river
listening to the birds, the ripple of the water and soak up the mist. I experienced such peace and oneness with
nature. |
