Great time in Hollywood and New Year's eve. Loved the Lion King and jazz at the Catalina Bar with Jane Monheit and her quintet. Saw four good movies: Gosford Park, A Beautiful Mind, In the Bedroom and Ali. Thanks Mari and Tita Nena for the hospitality and comfy bed.
January 2, headed for Laguna Beach at around 3:00 pm to stay at Laguna Brisas Spa. The weather was a bit spitty, but no real rain.

THE END
Back to the hotel at about 9:00 pm, saw the fireworks from the hotel. Pups were good sports, stayed at the Residence Inn from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Took off at about 7:30 the next morning and were home in six hours. We made great time! A great vacation, no sweat, relaxed and easy. Happy to be home.
