Old fashioned Julian Diner

We highly recommend Del Gallegos Bed and Breakfast. The hosts' Jules and Eileen are exceptional.  They are dog friendly as well!

I've been visiting San Diego about once a month. It gives me an opportunity to visit my sister and her brood. So when FileNET initiated forced vacations as a way to save the company $$$ we decided to vacation in San Diego.    We typically celebrate at our friends' Nancy and Melinda's house with their family, but  their older kids had different plans this year and Isa held her own dinner with friends.  So I too thought why not be different this year: I called Eileen and invited ourselves. We spent a week in San Diego.

Aunts Lucia and Grace on an excursion to SeaWorld with Patrick.

Patrick is a joy to be with.  He has such a happy disposition.  Always a smile on his face.
He went down this slide six times
The last picture below was his idea, as a finale he wanted the souvenir SeaWorld picture

I was obviously busy eating or otherwise distracted because I certainly missed taking a lot of people's pictures.

There were about 30 guests. Everyone brought a dish.  As in all Thanksgiving dinners, we had an abundance of GOOD food.

Temecula Wineries

I ran out of battery power for my camera so the pictures from Temecula are very limited. We did get a chance to visit three wineries in San Diego's wine country and catch the sunset,  We were joined by Patricia and her friends.

Walking the dogs with Patrick and Victoria

This was the morning before we left.  While we were there, we either took the dogs for walks in the dog parks; Fiesta Island and Ocean beach.  When we couldn't make it to the parks  we took them around the neighborhood.  All the kids loved the dogs.  It was as if they were warm live toys to them.  The pups had no complaints, they  just ate it all up.
