The Temple of Poseidon.

Cape Sounion is about a two-hour drive from Athens. It is a beautiful drive along the coast. We took a tour, which we booked, through the hotel. It is where the Temple of Poseidon, god of the sea was built. It was erected on a summit of a rock on a rocky peninsula that projects into the sea at the southeast tip of Attica

You supposedly get the most spectacular sunset views from here, unfortunately we couldn't stay for it.
