We had a delightful time at the condo this September 2004. The weather was humid but the breeze made it pleasant. Additionally the unit's temperature was cool and comfortable.
We met a lot of interesting people at the resort. The staff of the Playa Marina Resort were so friendly and helpful.
We had a great time bird watching, we must have spotted at least 25 species in the grounds alone.
Snorkeling was great at the frontal beach. I saw needle fish, puffers, angels. One of the other guests said they saw a school of rays.
We planned several tours with EcoTrans at the tour desk. The Buena Vista Lodge with the canopy tour, natural water slide and mud baths at the hot springs was a lot of fun. While horseback riding from Brasilita to Conchal we saw ahuge family of Howler monkeys.
We purchased food at the market down the street, we coked and we also ate at Marie's which is walking distance. We highly recommend it. Additionally we ate at the Shrimp Dorado in Brazilito, the restaurant shuttle picked you up and brought you back, they also had excellent food and service.
The location was so convenient, we rented a car right there and went scuba diving and put in at the maina next door.
We will certainly come back. Thanks Thomas and Patty for all the recommendations, we couldn't have had a better time. We are coming back
