FALLEN LOG

Overview: It is amazing how many things live in and on rotting logs. In this activity, we became familiar with some of these organisms. We gained an understanding of how decomposition takes place. We now have a better understanding of microhabitats and communities.
Besides the hands on experience we had looking at fallen log habitats on the creek beside the school yard, we read the story
